About.
Hi, I’m Jess and I’m a professional violinist based in Norwich, UK. I’ve been playing the violin since the age of four, and have a bachelor’s degree with honours from Trinity College of Music conservatoire in London.
I’m an experienced performer and teacher, and am lucky to have been able to spend much of the last decade touring, teaching, recording and collaborating with artists from across the world.
I grew up learning the violin by ear and am also fortunate enough to have perfect pitch, so I like to take an aural approach to teaching music. I feel that it is important to combine this approach with music theory and sight reading however, so that my students have a well rounded understanding of music.
